Department of Architecture, Urban Planning + Design

Identified by the College of Arts and Sciences as a department with the potential to grow, the Department of Architecture, Urban Planning + Design asked for our help in redesigning their website. Their previous website had been built in Flash, and was not only difficult to maintain and woefully out-of-date, but it was also difficult to find or view for many of their potential students.
I developed the new design using colors inspired by their recently remodeled classroom space. They were looking for something clean and bright with a Bauhaus sensibility that would still fit within university brand standards. The result was a collaborative effort with a web developer on our staff that makes maintenance easy and provides new functionality for the department, including a section dedicated to showcasing their student and faculty projects within the community.
